• Artivist Film Festival features a documentary on child soldiers from Uganda’s civil war. The Artivist Film Festival in London will feature Children of War, a film directed by Bryan Single, on its opening night the weekend of March 5th and 6th. Mtaala Board Vice President, Nick Taussig, will speak at a Q&A session following the film.

• Style that makes a difference! Urban Outfitters recently featured a charity tee with an original design by an Mtaala student. All proceeds benefited the Mtaala Foundation, and helped us on our way to building a clinic at Awegys School.

• Mtaala partners with Rosa International Middle School in New Jersey, USA. Students and staff at the middle school are committed to raising enough funds to build a well at Awegys School while raising awareness about the worldwide access to water.
